Our Aims

We aim to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment in which the children can learn and develop to their full potentials. We strive as teachers to provide stimulating, challenging and educational activities for the children to learn through play, taking into account their individual needs. We aim to support our children to become independent and confident as individuals and as part of a group, making the transition to school one of excitement. Creating an enjoyment and enthusiasm for learning; these are our key aims for any children attending our setting. We encourage parents to be involved in their child's education both at home and in school and we welcome ideas strengthening the link between the two.

Our morning

Children enjoy learning through play, and the provision of child and adult led activity encourages progress and new skills. As well as daily access to the playgroup garden, the children can enjoy a wide range of activities covering the 7 areas of the curriculum and a healthy and nutritious snack. At the beginning and end of each session we have a quiet time on the story mat with books, show and tell and time to share their thoughts with their friends. Ofsted recognise that our children act independently and are secure and confident as members of the group, interacting in a positive and friendly way. We are proud of the caring atmosphere and we welcome and encourage you to come and visit us, if you are looking for a setting for your pre-schooler.
